🧵 We are a small crew of stitchers and tinkerers who got tired of squinting at photos and guessing how many skeins to buy. So we built the chart maker we wished we had.

Marks the Spot: Cross Stitch is built to work entirely on your device. We do not collect, store or share any data about you, your photos or your projects.
None. The app does not gather personal details, device identifiers, location, usage statistics or any content you create. The photos you pick for patterns are read on your device only to build the chart.
Since nothing is collected, nothing is used, analyzed, profiled or sold. Your charts, color counts, thread basket and stitching journal exist only to serve you.
Everything you create, including charts, marked crosses, thread inventory, shopping lists and journal entries, is kept locally on your device. There is no cloud storage and no server holding a copy.
The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising networks, trackers or social plug-ins. No outside company receives anything from it.
Because your data never leaves your device, it is protected by your device's own security. Photo processing, pattern generation and printing all run locally, with no network transfer involved.
The app is friendly to young crafters and consistent with COPPA principles: we collect no data from anyone, including children under 13.
There are no accounts to create or manage. To remove all of your app data, simply delete the app from your device.
If this policy ever changes, we will update the effective date above and publish the revised text here. Our core promise of collecting no data will remain.
